Rainbow Bay - Mermaids
The location of the property was great for view and privacy. Ryder was quick to respond to any questions we asked. Great beaches within a 30 minute drive. Rainbow bay beach about 1km away but walkable. We were aware that power and water outages were possible but this mostly happened while we were out or sleeping. Would stay there again..

Ryder went well above the norm to ensure our stay was memorable. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and let us rent his car during our stay. Never have we encountered such a gracious host as Ryder. Awesome dude!

Would recommend to others !
Place was quite and peaceful. And the owner was very pleasant and accommodating. My only suggestion would be is upgrade to a cistern and a back up generator installed to auto start so the renters would not have to worry about anything effecting their time at home would relaxing. It’s such a shame that the power is unreliable in the Bahamas.

Mermaids and Ryder were amazing!
We loved our stay at Mermaids in Rainbow Bay. Ryder was so helpful when we needed anything. He left a bottle of wine and some fruit and snacks for us when we arrived and that was such a nice welcome gift. The place was adorable and the view was amazing. I was hoping to enjoy the hot tub but a previous guest busted it, but oh well things happen. When you visit an island like Eleuthera you have to get used to island living. Sometimes the storms take out Internet or power or the water is being worked on by utility companies. That's just island life and Ryder was an absolute champ at assisting us when we really needed something. Lots of towels available and TV's, fridges, and coffee makers in every room. The neighborhood beach was actually one of my favorites on the island. We would recommend this place and Ryder to anyone that wants to visit Lutra. He went above and beyond.

The best home rental experience we have had. Ryder was great at communicating prior to our arrival and during our stay, picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, rented us a vehicle for our stay and gave great recommendations for our trip. Home had everything you could want: fully stocked with amenities, full kitchen, three bathrooms, patio, hot tub and view of the ocean. Everything was clean and worked great. WiFi was reliable and TVs with streaming services. Location was prime for those wanting to see both sides of the island. Centrally located near lots of great beaches, restaurants, sites.

The Mermaid
Beautiful cottage in the perfect location (The best on the island ). Unexpectedly roomy with ocean views from open living area ,kitchen and second bedroom. This cottage has a large deck where I sat in the mornings to breath fresh ocean air, hear the waves, eat breakfast and watch the hummingbirds with an ocean view. At night it is a perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine to view the moon and Stars are over the ocean. Stocked with every amenity from full kitchen, A/C, grill and even a hot tub. I couldn’t ask for more.......Mr. Ryder met us at the airport and even took us back to catch our plane home. Ask him to help you with a rental. On our way to the Mermaid he helped familiarize us with the island and what we needed to know and the must sees. This island was a dream. A perfect quiet vacation. You can enjoy time on several beaches ( it always was only us or maybe one other couple on the entire beach) , collect sea shells, see the glass bridge in person, take a $5 water taxi ride over to the Governor Island; rent a golf cart to explore and walk on its famous pink beach. Spanish wells or explore a cave or two. You have to visit Island Made in Greggory . Make sure to buy some freshly baked bread from the bakery. Five days was not enough time.
