The staff were very friendly however, the room was not cleaned thoroughly on arrival and I had to call the front desk several times, to take the dirty towels and replace with clean towels. The hotel is adult-only, but it is open to the public so there can/will be kids, especially on cruise ship days. ...

There are times during the day when each of the guests are busy around the island a quiet moment can be had by the pool or on the veranda. But when the lodge is full and guests come back from the day, the quiet turns to thumps, bumps and slamming doors and the open air lodge does little to stop "all" noises from other rooms.
