„We came already second time to this hotel. We aprecciate the short distance from airport, the huge pool areas, garden and tunnel to the beach. The overall style of the hotel is beautiful, not really so new, but still in very good shape. Noise from airport is almost not noticable, but military helicopters are often crossing in front of the bay. „There are no pans or utensils to cook in the room. There were no glasses or wine glasses, the kitchen is just for decoration. There is no washer and dryer in the room as stated in the room description. Had a huge building right in front of the room, so close that I needed to use the blinders all the time. “

„I’m really happy and glad I picked this property. Everything is perfect. I’ll definitely stay at this property again when I come back to Sanya. The crew were so accommodating, the place extremely clean and modern. It’s close to the beach but not too close making it so quiet. The ocean view from my room was spectacular and serene and most importantly the price is so reasonable. I’m so grateful that Ascott made such a great property in such a great location. „Das Hotel liegt, getrennt durch eine Strasse, direkt am Strand. Je nach Zimmer hat man sich auf die Sanya Bay oder Phoenix Island. Es ist schon ein etwas älteres Modell aber noch akzeptabel. Baden war keine angenehme Sache, auch wenn wir mit dem Bus schon etwas weiter weit vom Zentrum gefahren sind. Für diese Aktivität eignen sich Yalong Bay und Dadong Bay deutlich besser. „Das Mandarin Oriental ist ein wunderschöner Resort, bei dem kaum Wünsche offen bleiben. Auf der Plus-Seite: Komfortable Zimmer, freundlicher Service, sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage. Die Minus-Seite: Der Resort liegt etwas abgelegen, am Ende einer militärisch genutzten Straße, sodaß man auf ein Fahrzeug angewiesen ist um in die Stadt zu kommen. Der Strand ist steinig und felsig, also nichts für Sand-Freunde.“

„It was our second visit to this hotel during the New Year time. Pluses: Again, it was a good compromise between the price and the services. The territory around the hotel might be the best among all other 4-5 star hotels in the vicinity. Very good beach. Nice breakfast buffet Minuses: the hotel definitely needs renovation. The restaurant is often overfilled between 8:30 and 10. The check-in procedure is VERY slow - the slowest one we have ever experienced.“

„Don't come here ! Everything is old and broken, I stayed in a Majestic Pool Villa which is the most expensive room type. The shower drainage is stuck and bad smell always present, there is not even a closet for hanging clothes and everything looks old and broken“
