„Don’t let the location fool you. It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. „A beautifully restored 1800’s farmhouse was the perfect gathering place to celebrate Christmas with family. Its history was surely one of love and happiness as that’s the vibe we experienced in every nook and cranny! „Annual girls weekend for 5. This was a new location this year instead of the beach...The serene surroundings were perfect, a little chill in the air and the town of Skaneatles is charming. Basement bedroom did not have adequate heater flow and the overall cabin needed a good clean and some recaulking but we enjoyed the rustic accommodations. Thank you for a great getaway.“

„We came for a hockey tournament and wanted to bring our dog. House was great - beautiful view of the lake. Easy drive into town. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, they really enjoyed the hot tub! My favorite part was the master bathroom, what a great shower and the heated toilet seats were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked. Great host - very communicative!“

„Pleasant cottage, AC was very comfortable. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayaks, yard games, floating deck and fire pit. Extreme care is needed with steep, narrow lakefront stairs. We loved historic downtown, highly recommend Harriet Tubman Museum in Auburn & Erie Canal Museum in Syracuse. The gravel lane to home was partially washed out, narrow & very steep, needs new gravel, grading & crowning which is responsibility of all homeowners on lane, all or 4-wheel drive is recommended.
