„My wife has been dying to sleep in the shoe for 30 years. She nearly died when she discovered her birthday surprise of a weekend in the shoe house. We had so much fun doing shoe themed activities and eating foot/shoe themed things. I think it's so much fun to be able to say we slept in a shoe. We had an absolute blast!“

„We were in town for a wedding, so we added an extra day to explore Harrisburg. The house I chose is river front and at the end of a quiet street. The location could not have been any better, 2 miles from downtown, with a wonderful river view. We spent the day walking along the river and enjoying the nearby park, historical monuments and the local restaurants. The house is older but quaint. „This was our 3rd time renting the ranch house. My husband discovered this amazing place for his Aunt in 2017, who is now battling Alzheimer’s that loved and adored horses. The Farmhouse is a middle location to our family in PA, VA and MD. „The property was great it had everything we needed. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. Owners were easy to get a hold of when we had any questions. Owners gave us information about places to go to eat and information about Raystown lake since it was our first time there. „We were only at the property one night to visit family in town. Home was clean and as described in the photos. The furniture in the living room was a bit worn but that wasn’t big deal to us. The home can accommodate a large group but be aware there is no dishwasher for a large gathering or extended stay.. „This was clean place with easy access to the places we wanted to go for our family of 6. The road is a little busy but not too bad, you could walk to a couple places to eat. Inside was comfortable and clean, very convenient having coffee and washer and dryer supplies and bating supplies especially when flying in.
