„We enjoyed the quiet street and handy access to Metro. Rod provided lots of research material for getting around and places to see. Very comfortable beds. Small but easy to use kitchen. We loved the backyard.“

„Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und hatte alle wichtigen Dinge, die man für einen Kurztrip braucht. Auf Wünsche wurde direkt eingegangen! Lediglich Kleinigkeiten und die Lage haben einen Punkt Abzug gebracht. Wie würden jederzeit wiederkommen :)“

„Wir waren zu dritt in der Wohnung (1 Erwachsener, 2 Kinder) und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles da, was man braucht bis hin zur U-Bahn Karte und zum Regenschirm. Abwicklung und Kommunikation hat reibungslos geklappt, ebenso die zügige Rücküberweisung der Kaution. Einziger Minuspunkt: Wir fanden die Schlafcouch, die bei mehr als 2 Gästen in Betreib genommen werden muss, bereits etwas sehr durchgelegen. “

„We stayed here between Xmas and New Year's Eve – 4 people. Overall, it was a great experience but with a few downsides. Pros: The location is fantastic, in a well-to-do neighbourhood with elegant houses, and bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Just one minute's walk to DuPont Circle Metro station, giving rapid access to the Smithsonian museums. For art lovers, the Philips Collection art gallery is just steps away. The apartment itself was stylish, well-designed and comfortable, ...

„This location is great. Just steps from restaurants, the metro and stores. You’ll feel like a local staying in the upscale neighborhood. There are no stairs to climb. Just a step or two so access is easy. The apartment was well equipped and clean. The layout is spacious. We look forward to returning. (The owner lives above and came down and introduced himself and offered tips about the local farmer’s market and Christmas market)“

Nice Design Hotel in the Center of Washington

"Very nice hotel in walking distance from the center - about 15-20 minutes walk to the capitol (or you take the subway, 5 minutes walk). Excellent breakfast, one of the best I had in this price range in the US. Good cappucino as well. The Restaurant on the top floor has a terrace with a nice view over washington with the capitol in the distance. But the restaurant is to pricey for what they offer."

"Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel liegt in zentraler Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in Washington D. C. und bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Vergleich zu umliegenden Hotels. Auf Anfrage haben wir ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein größeres Bett und Late-Check-Out bekommen. Unser Zimmer hatte Blick bis aufs Weiße Haus. Der Zimmerservice war tadellos, egal ob wir das Hotel morgens Früh oder erst mittags verlassen haben. Vielen Dank, dass wir Gäste bei euch sein durften!"

"The best place to stay in D.C.. Have been staying there for business travel or vacation for the past 20 years and will come again. Cozy clean rooms, extremely friendly and helpful staff and a location you can‘t beat, right between Downtown and Georgetown, and the Metro just steps away. Love this Place!"

"White House and National Mall in walking distance. Proper and clean place to stay. Pretty large room good equipped. Breakfast in Diner located in the hotel. Diner’s staff friendly but a little stressed. Allover I would recommend this hotel to a friend. "
