From bedroom choices to outside porches to full kitchen amenities everything we needed was at our fingertips. Location couldn't have been better. View of the St Lawrence, glimpses of ships traveling in the distance, perfect weather and wonderful flat hiking right in the neighborhood. „We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. Would definitely consider this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!“

„Beautiful surroundings and everything you need to enjoy the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Our extended family was up and our cottage down the road was full. This was a wonderful space to be close to family and still have privacy, quiet, and all the conveniences of home. Well appointed, clean and very responsive host. Grenell Island is full of history and charm - we loved exploring the walking path and checking out all the old pictures in the Community House while our kids played foosball. We had a great time jumping off the dock, reading in the Adirondack chairs, having dinner on the deck and meeting all of the island pets. „Perfect stay! Everything in this rustic cabin is thoughtfully placed and appointed. Bring books and binoculars for bird and lake watching. The view cannot be beat, and this is a lovely quiet retreat in late autumn.“

„This great historic house was perfect for our family! We loved the house, especially the deck! The water front with paddle boards and fire pit circle were a huge hit! The kitchen was great, perfect for our family meals! Thank you so much to our hosts who were great with communication, answering questions promptly! Hoping to return again some day!“
