„I can unequivocally say we had a wonderful time from the moment we drove up until we were driving away. We had booked this as a surprise for our adult children (and their partners) to stay with us. They were absolutely wowed by the amazing castle, the amazing views and just how cool it was. The caretaker Mike was incredibly helpful and helped get us set up perfectly. We would 100% stay again - if we could find an opening :-) “

„One of the most interesting places I've rented. It's an old house that has been added onto multiple times which gives it a bit of a maze feel. But I appreciate the way the house was renovated to add in modern comfort, but let the age and character of the house show. Loved being able to see the hand hewn beams in the upstairs bedroom. The beds were comfortable and with 4 bedrooms and bathrooms, getting everybody ready for the wedding was easy. “

„Overall we did enjoy the stay and was mostly perfect for us. There was some confusion with check in/out process and parking but they were responsive and easy to get ahold of. Our biggest issue is that the general description says 4 bedrooms, 4 queen+ beds. The description does clarify this a little but we ended up bringing and using a blow up mattress because we weren't sure. The 4th bedroom is actually off of the 3rd bedroom. And while the 4th bedroom has a queen bed, the 3rd bedroom does not ...

„The property was beautiful surrounded by nature and a fountain garden. We enjoyed our stay there. The only issue we had was the room above us had a party and the noise kept us awake until 5 am. The walls were thin and the floors were squeaky, you could hear the rooms above us had a party with too many guests. It would have been nice to have a host there to greet and make aware of extra unwanted guests. “
