„We stayed at the resort for 9 days. I really only have positiv things to say about it. The room was beautifull and spacious, with a nice bathroom. The premises are very greek-style gorgeous. The beach is better than at DIani because you are shelteres from the swell. There is always security at our part of the beach, so you can leave valuebales while swimming. „The Lawford was a lovely place to stay in Malindi. The 3 bedroom villa and private pool were amazing. Large upstairs and downstairs lounge areas. Lots of space for everyone. There was a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils etc. Service was great. Staff were delightful. Had fun with pool and table tennis. We would live there, if we could! Our neighbors were a bit loud but management tried to help with the situation. The beach is close but the water was brown and not “inviting.” ...

„Ich kann dieses wunderschöne Paradies jedem empfehlen. Es war das absolute Paradies für uns am Ende unserer Reise durch Kenia. Eine sehr familiäre und innige Beziehung, obwohl wir nur 5 Nächte dort waren. Granny und ihre Tochter und das Personal wie Sophie waren alle sehr gastfreundlich. „We had a good stay at Lion in the sun. People there are super friendly and really doing their best for you to have a good stay. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable and so are the chairs. The resort is beautiful with flowers, trees and well maintained swimming pools. On the downside the biggest issue was the internet being unstable and slow and at some times it would disappear completely. Even though you are at a resort and want to relax, internet is essential. „What an amazing stay at BSL. Wonderful beach front property with small villas. Blown away by the delicious food and attentive staff. Everyone was super nice and an extra shoutout to Joel the manager and Fred the receptionist. Fred greeted us warmly and was so kind to share tips for our stay in Kilifi, really appreciated and thanks Fred. Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay!!!!!!!“

„Great owners and Rachel the cook was very nice abd helpful. As a retired chef, I can say this was a cool experience to relax and not cook while enjoying my stay here. Thanks to the owners! The receptionist could be a little bit sour acting, but the rest of the staff was WONDERFUL!“

"Das Billionaire hat zwei Bereiche: das eigentliche Billionaire Resort am Meer mit Appartements (22 insgesamt, von denen aber 11 im Besitz von regelmäßigen Gäste ist) und das „Lion in the Sun“ (nicht direkt am Meer), das Zimmer anbietet. Bei der Buchung in Expedia landet man im „Lion in the Sun“. Im Lion in the Sun gibt es mehrere Hütten, die je 4 Zimmer beinhalten. Jede Hütte hat ihren eigenen Lounge Bereich mit Sofas und einem eigenen Pool. Außerdem gibt es noch einen großen gemeinschafts-Pool. Frühstück gibt es in dem Teil in dem man übernachtet. Restaurant nur im Billionaire. Ein Shuttle Service Transportiert einen wann immer man möchte von einem in den anderen Teil (600m Distanz). Der Strand am Billionaire ist felsig, die Pools im „Lion in the Sun“ sind traumhaft und sehr ruhig, perfekt zum entspannen. Das Fitnessstudio ist gut, hat aber leider kein WLAN. Das Personal ist super freundlich und bemüht. Wir können das Hotel weiter empfehlen. Der Strand am Billionaire hingegen war etwas enttäuschend."
