„We had a great time at this property. Less than 10 minutes to Watkins Glen and the Gorge Trail. Multiple wineries with 10 minutes. Also a bunch of markers markets and local farm stores within 20 minutes. We really enjoyed exploring the area and then winding down on the back porch at night after a day out. Would recommend this location to anyone looking to explore the Watkins Glen or Seneca Lake Wine Trail.“

„We had a wonderful time at Birchwood cottage, the decor and the property are beautiful and the access to the lake couldn’t be nicer. From fishing off the dock to watching the sun rise from the patio we made good use of the outdoor spaces. Keuka lake is crystal clear and beautiful. There are a number of wineries within a few minutes drive of the cottage. It does take 20 mins or so to get to a grocery store but all in all it wasn’t that far to get to Penn Yan for these items. „Everything was as described, clean, easy to follow directions, and easy communication with the host. Underrated but greatly appreciated was the hot water supply and water pressure out of the showers! The only minor thing was the pool stick was broken and held together by tap, still worked if held right though. Will definitely stay again when we come back to Corning.“

The air conditioning is not central air, and there were two portable air units, one in the main living space and the other in one of the three bedrooms. This year we stayed on the bluff, and this house had everything you could possibly want. Lots of shady spots and chairs to relax in, a beautiful dock with a fridge to keep our cold!
