However, this was the first time renting a house in the area as we wanted to bring our two dogs. We could not have been more pleased with this home and its location. Only about a two-three minute drive from the town of Skaneatles, it provided us with a "home away from hone" setting while still being able to conveniently go into town for dinner, drinks and shopping. ...

„We stayed for a few nights over the holidays. The space is a renovated antique barn with absolutely beautiful and rustic interior decoration. The bed was so comfy, we cooked a few meals in the apt as well, and enjoyed a lovely morning walk around the pond into the neighboring field/park they’ve cleared. Host was extremely responsive and easy to contact. We had a very lovely time!“

„The location couldn’t have been better. We had to shovel out the all the exits (in case we needed them) and lucky we had a shovel with us as there were none there. Other than that, the place was perfect for three old ice fishermen. “

„This VRBO is on a property with two other houses…owned by same family…All vacation rentals👍just minutes from downtown Skaneatles . It’s a wonderful location —gorgeous/beautifully decorated—-comfortable beds and quality bedding— homes are remodeled , very clean, and well stocked… The owner Debbie is very attentive…and always available 😊We have stayed many times and at a few of their locations . I give them an 11!!!“

„Casa Carmela is a beautiful home with a lovely beachfront and fantastic sunset views. Our group of 8 were comfortable and had plenty of room to gather for meals or games. It is convenient to both Auburn and Skaneateles. The house was well appointed and equipped. Owner was responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. “

„This was for a wedding and the groomsmen stayed! I spoke with Debbie on the phone briefly and let her know that after rehearsal dinner that the bride and some bridesmaids would be stopping in to hang out for a bit and she was very nice about it. Communication was immaculate. If I ever need a house in Skaneateles again I will 100% be looking at this house again!“
