„We had a fabulous time. You would never know there was a town 2 miles from the house. It was very peaceful and welcoming. The cottage was very clean and had no issues what so ever. We were able to choose from quite a few events going on in the area and enjoy the fall foliage. “

„When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.“

„Very clean and comfortable. Even though it was just my husband and I staying there we had some folks drop in the celebrate my fathers 90th birthday and it was very accommodating. Very well stocked kitchen and the bed we slept in was very comfortable. Would love to be able to stay there in the summer but it is completely booked and I can understand why. „We stayed at this lovely little cabin for several days this summer. Immaculate and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Beautifully set up outdoor space with a wonderful hot tub to relax in after hiking.So close to kayaking and swimming on a beautiful lake, great hiking (Appalachian Trail is nearby) and the restaurants in town were fabulous. We enjoyed having our hiking dog with us. The host has paid close attention to every detail on this property. Would absolutely visit again! “

„This dog friendly 2BR cottage is right on crystal clear Tripp Lake, with a large screened in porch/family room. It is small but very well appointed and maintained. The weekend we were there it was very quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, hiking nearby, and hearing the loons daily. Owners and manager were very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!“

„We had a great time boating and enjoying this lakeside home. The house was clean inside, and spacious as pictured. We also loved visiting Screw Auger Falls and Moose Caves…just a short drive away. I suggest that there be more kitchen towels available as well as washcloths in the bathrooms. The outside of the home could’ve used some cleanup as well. “

„The rental did not have a king-sized bed as advertised. (I even specifically asked beforehand and was reassured that it did.) There weren't any hot mitts or kitchen towels. Two of the bedrooms are missing blinds and the sprayer for the kitchen sink does not work. Upon arrival we found a bottle of Advil propping open the window in the bedroom with bunk beds. This is unsafe since we had young children with us. The amenities mentioned spices and a baby gate, but those could not be found. ...
