2BR+ Loft, 2BA GT Resort golf course condo near Traverse City area Beaches. Stay at “the Loft” one of the few private 2BR 2BA + Loft vacation condos featuring a two-story Wall of Windows right on the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa golf course just a short ten-minute drive from Traverse City.
Features: Can be used as a Dual Primary Suite unit. Main floor Great Room with vaulted ceilings spanning two floors, wall of windows with slider door to Private Balcony overlooking the golf course, full Kitchen with full-size major appliances, Dining Room, 3 HDTVs, WiFi, main floor full bath next to primary Bedroom with King bed & private doorway to the Balcony. The upper floor of our condo has a 2nd side bedroom with a Queen bed, 2nd Full Bath, a large closet, and a Trundle bed in the open Loft.
Pool access: This is a wonderful location regardless, however frustrating for all involved; this past year, the Resort that owns the pool put some strict policies in place only allowing guests that book directly through them or use it - even we as owners can't use it. That said, the beach is gorgeous, but they also host weddings there sometimes - however, you can walk along the beach to the left, and it extends to a public beach which is lovely too, and you'll always have access there.
There is one little semi-workaround if you really want a pool; you can book a spa treatment at the Grand Traverse Resort, and you'll receive access to the pool and facilities for the rest of the day. Just request the code to access the pool/locker rooms, and you'll be able to use their indoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, tennis courts, etc.
You also already have access to their shops, restaurants, and golf. 😌
What is included?
Included: Bedding & Linen, Bath Towels, and Hand Towels for up to 5 guests. Full kitchen stocked with basic cookware, dishes, cups, flatware, glassware, microwave, coffee maker & toaster. Basic “starter supplies” on hand typically include bar soap, pump hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, facial & bathroom tissue, and paper towels. Custom wall-mounted HDTV in the great room, HDTVs in each bedroom, Cable TV digital channels, and high-speed WiFi are all included. Full Kitchen with Major Kitchen Appliances. Free private parking and covered parking on site. The condo is up the building's interior stairway, one and a half floors from the entry door.
*Washer & Dryer are large capacity laundromat style coin-op units located in the utility room next to the main entry to the building. The key to the utility room door is hanging on the kitchen wall in the condo.
Staying in this privately owned golf course vacation unit allows you to experience uniquely individualized accommodation unavailable in the regular standardized hotel rooms. Guests of the private owners are welcomed and encouraged to make use of the following listed services, which are open to the public at the resort: 3 Championship Golf Courses, including the “Bear” by Jack Nicholas & the "Wolverine" by Gary Player, the Golf Pro Shop & Snack bar, an array of exceptional Restaurants & Lounges on the property, the Tower Gallery of Retail Shops and of course “the Spa” Grand Traverse. In season, reservations for golf tee times and the Spa are suggested.
For sun, sand, and swimming, check out the newly opened Bayside Public Park & Beach. The beach, with free public access, is located right on Grand Traverse Bay, just down the street from the condo, less than a one-minute drive. Here you will find a nice swimming beach area, picnic areas with grills, swings, a volleyball net, hiking trails, and free parking.

When the snow flies, the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa transform some of the rolling landscape of its golf courses and its woods into a system of cross-country trails. Some of these trails run right outside of our condos.
