„We celebrated my fathers 90th over a gorgeous September weekend. The number of beds and rooms was perfect. The beds are comfortable which is a must at a rental. The fire pit out front was wonderful and we appreciated that the wood was included. The lake is gorgeous! Such an easy walk. Loved the kayaks. Our only suggestion would be to upgrade the array of kitchen equipment. Having 2 fridges and dishwashers was great. But the array of pots and pans was challenging. Thankfully we were mostly ...

„The cabin was so relaxing and spacious for our family of four and pups! Shagg Pond was picturesque and climbing Bald Mountain was challenging and beautiful!“

„The house setup was perfect for connecting with the family. The location overlooks a lake from way up high, but we had to drive a mile for the public access which was disappointing. (It involved crossing a main road.) We enjoyed the view and took a day trip to Step Falls. I appreciated the view, the fun stuff to do at the house, but felt misled with calling it a “Lake house.” The lake view was beautiful but it should be more clear to the reader that they are not on the lake.“

„This was our second year back at Marie’s island cabin. It’s a favorite for our whole family, including our two dogs. Rain or shine, the cabin and island are a relaxing place to spend a few days. Swimming, paddling, playing board games or just sitting on the front porch with a good book - we can’t wait to go back next year.“

„We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils, and the gas fireplace was cozy. Dock was a gorgeous spot for a late affernoon drink! Only consideration is bedrooms are tight and wouldn’t be good for those with mobility issues. Only suggestion to the hosts would be extra hand/dish soap (we used both sparingly since they weee nearly out and didn’t find others in the cupboards). Otherwise appreciated the hosts responsiveness.
