"We’ve stayed at Best Western Sunset Plaza with a group of friends in a 6-person suite. Hotel is located in a very lively part of West Hollywood with a lot of places around to to go out. Also, our suite offered a beautiful balcony with panoramic views on West Hollywood and even downtown LA. Would highly recommend staying here. Although as a group of six we would next time book two double rooms instead of the suite, as the sofa bed was not the most comfortable option for two adults. "

"In general, my stay at the Moxy Downtown was good. Arrival and check-in were very easy, the room was big enough for me alone and the view over Los Angeles was incredible. The staff was nice and the coffee shop on the ground floor had a good breakfast selection. Unfortunately, as soon as I arrived I realized that the restaurants in Level8 (which is not officially part of the hotel) were not what I had imagined. From my perspective, it is more of a very chic floor for the young, upper class to party. At the weekend the music is very loud and disturbs your sleep. At the entrance downstairs you are also asked for a reservation as a hotel guest and I was only let in unfriendly. Nevertheless, I would recommend the hotel myself. The location is very good, close to the Crypto Arena with some nice restaurants nearby and not far from some public transportation."

"Das Hotel ist einzigartig. Sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer modern und sauber - gehobene Klasse. Der Check-in durch Maria war zuvorkommend und professionell. - Ich wusste, dass zusätzliche Gebühren anfallen, aber die Zahl der verschiedenen Gebühren sprengt jede Grenze! Deshalb 7 von 10 Punkten. Wenn man ein Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht hat, wird am Ende fast die Hälfte vom Preis nochmals dazu kommen, wenn man mit Auto anreist. Die Preise sind völlig intransparent! Auf der Bar im 73. Stock habe ich für Drinks grosszügiges Trinkgeld bar hingelegt. Niemand weist darauf hin, dass das Trinkgeld auf der Gesamtabrechnung klangheimlich automatisch hinzu gefügt wird. Es ist schon erstaundlich, dass man bei einem Frühstücksbuffet, das 50 Dollar (!) kostet, für den Espresso einen horrenden extra Preis zahlt Tax Tip. Man gab uns ein late check-out (Gold member), danke! Aber um 10.30 klopfte man (ich gab Auskunft), um 10.52 Uhr klopfte es wieder (Auskunft) und um 11.02 störte man per Telefon! "
