„Location of the hostel is very good. Walkable to the Zhangjiajie National Park entrance. Overall room wasn’t that clean. The washroom had that typical smell and I saw a few stains on the bed sheets. There are only stairs but highest floor is only 5 or 6 I think. Overall it’s just a cheap acceptably clean place to stay near Zhangjiajie National Park.“

Das Frühstück war eher mager und die Lage ist nicht zentral. Das Personal hat kaum englisch gesprochen war aber trotzdem bemüht. 4 Sterne sind es dennoch keine“

The so called "international" restaurant is normally closed/lights out; only if foreigners are coming they prepare some desks. The "international" menue is an illusion, most meals from the card are not available, what is available is made from a cook who never has learned to prepare international ...

„Hard to find place. The taxi dropped me by a gate and said 'in there somewhere'. Had to ask 2 or 3 people to eventually find the hotel - but convenient once you know where it is! A lot of confusion on check-in, but eventually sorted out when the lady called her daughter who spoke good English. Didn't like the 'hole in the floor' toilet, but otherwise clean.“

„Cons- Very far from most tourist destinations, expect to spend more money on taxi, and hotel adds surcharge to book cabs. Insect comes into the room because it's in forest area. Air Conditioning in Hotel isn't the best, it is just sufficient, but room remains warm. No restaurants other than hotel's own restaurants. Expect to pay slightly more for hotel food.
