„So. If you’re a western traveller heading to Chittagong you’re probably trying for work out to stay at the peninsula or the Radisson. The peninsula is like an older ritz-Carlton property, (yes the mattresses could do with an update, but a firm and okay). The rooms on the smaller side are on par with a New York or London hotel, but perfectly functional. The service and food are exceptional. It’s a nice 3* room with 5* service. (The Radisson is a 4* room with 3* service - I’ve stayed at both.) ...

„The hotel charged us with breakfast fees, even though they were included in the accomodation fees. The breakfast was rather shabby. Overall experience was bad.“

„This is a nice hotel with great free breakfast. I have one big complain. Entire hotel is smoking. I have been in many hotels all over the world. They can make few floors smoking NOT all floors. Expedia please tag this hotel as smoking.“

„The rooms are very spacious which is the best aspect of the hotel. The bathroom floor around the toilet was dirty and the shower and walls needed a scrubbing. The rugs in the room were filthy. The balcony floor was so dirty I tracked black footprints into the room after walking on it. “

„So this is priced like the peninsula, however it’s just not there. The mattress is very good, the rooms are large, but the upkeep and standards aren’t there. I had used toiletries in the room and intermittent hot water. (I’m a western traveller) That said. The service is really good. The staff will go whatever mile you need them to. They are patient and kind. Stay here if the location is good for you, and you’re okay with a hotel that’s mostly tolerable, but roughly around the edges. “

„Often encounter power trips. Very close to domestic airport but nothing else in the vicinity. Gym is musty as not in use. Breakfast staple is the same everyday. Not recommend unless for short stay over or seeking convenience to airport. “

„Single room is very basic and doesnt look like photos. Windows have gaps. Many mosquitos get into the room. Staff kept asking for tips. 1st employee asked for tip when i requested soap. Concierge asked for tip when i requested toilet paper. At midnight 12 am 1st employee banged loudly on my door while i was sleeping and turned the handle while attempting to enter room. After i woke up and opened the door he told me the reason for his midnight banging: he wanted a tip. I chased him to the office. ...
