„We had an accessible double room with a walk-in shower and a shower bench, which was great, except that there was inadequate water pressure to use the handheld shower head effectively. The room was clean but lacked adequate tabletop space and had only one small side chair. We arrived in the evening so went to a drive-thru to pick up food and bring it back to the room. „The cabin was very clean. There was no firewood available to purchase, and the hot tub would not hold the heat, even in 50° weather. The hot tub was very clean as well. The DVD player worked. The short walk to the trail was nice, and the time it took to get to the bridge was less than an hour. We did not find a creek anywhere near the cabin that was accessible.“

„The peaceful setting high above the James was only interrupted by the infrequent passing freight trains across the river. The sunsets were colorful and the clear moonless nights burst with stars, especially looking up from the hot tub. The cabin was as advertised; comfortable bedrooms, modern bathrooms, well-stocked kitchen (pots, plates pans, utensils, etc). Central Air/Heat worked fine.
