„This is a gorgeous historic place, over 200 years old, fixed up meticulously. The room had a magnificent fireplace, and tasteful antiques transporting you back in time. The host had complimentary beverages in the fridge. Located close to little shops and restaurants in the lush mountains of West Virginia, this is truly a hidden gem. I'd stay here again in a second“

„This is the fourth time staying here and each time is amazing! Check in and check out is a breeze and done via email or text. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable, and the property is close to everything downtown with a short walk. The shops are awesome and the Asylum next door has great food and drinks! Most places are closed downtown on Sundays or have short hours, but there is still a lot to do. The Lost World Caverns and the Hawk Knob are a 10 minute drive away! 10/10 recommend ...

„I thought the staff was excellent, i never met them but they are very nice abd helpful. I could not make the trip due illness, i couldn't get anyone from expedia to help me. So i called the Hotel and they said they would gladly return my money, but expedia would not let them. So Hotel staff was amazing. Expedia was the worst, will stay at hotel but will never use expedia again.“

„Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! My husband and I were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. “

It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home.
