„this place was out in the middle of nowhere but was amazing. It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. „It was a very clean quiet stay. A few stink bugs, but nothing to worry about. The hot tub was great. The owners were amazing help and always were in communication. Highly recommended. “

The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. A lovely deck and pavilion by the river add to enjoying the beautiful serenity of this area. „Great location, close to national and state parks in the area.“

„Took wife and both adult kids for a long weekend for my wife's birthday. Great time. Joe gives you full access to his little slice of heaven. No horses in December for us but tons of piece and quiet. Make the 10 mile drive to Babcock state forest. If you like tattoos get ahold of wolf sing ink in mt hope. 25 minute drive from cabin and this guy is top notch in the business. Joe we'll be back very soon. “

„Although on a highway route, I didn’t mind the sounds of traffic. I focused and enjoyed the serenity surrounding the cabin. You could hear the water running in the creek while sitting on the swing on the porch. I used the wood burner quite a bit. Slept like a baby and woke up late every day!!“

„This was my and my mom's third time in the area. We absolutely loved the cabin! The property is beautiful and it is a super short drive to the Warm Spring Pools and other attractions, stores, etc in the area. We will definitely be back!“

„Nikki’s home is simply lovely. Not only is it spotlessly clean, it has a lot of charm. Sipping coffee on the porch swing was my favorite! The kitchen suited our needs. The location was convenient to New River Gorge.“

„This cabin was wonderful and the booking was easy. The host Billie was also excellent with communication. It is a slight challenge to get up the hill to the cabin but as long as you have 4 wheel or AWD you should be fine. My teens and I loved our stay and would definitely stay again.“

„The house and the location were exactly what I was looking for. Located near Sandstone Falls and Big Branch Trail. The house is well stocked and clean. The screen porch with the view of the river is a great place to relax. Excellent 2 night stay.“

„The cabin was just what I needed as a place to stay to visit the New River Gorge National Park. I did not have a chance to use some of the extra amenities they offered, such as fire pit and hot tub but everything was ready to go, should I have. Cabin was very clean! I would stay again.“

„We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving! The kitchen was amazingly appointed, especially for a holiday meal. Just about every kitchen gadget you’d ever need! The separate bunk house was great for our group of varying ages and schedules. We loved the outdoor space even in the cold and even used the hiking trails some! Thank you for a wonderful stay - we hope to stay again!“

„Enjoyed our stay“

„My friends and I were rockclimbing in the area and stayed here. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. Perfect place if you want to explore the area but have a relaxed place to stay and recharge between adventures.“

„My husband and I had a 4 day weekend for Veterans day. We decided to take the Bridge Walk and explore some of the old coal towns in Nutallburg and Therman.“
