„Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants.“

„Nevis Palm is a wonderful house. We absolutely loved our stay there. The beach views and constant warm breeze made sitting at the pool or on the screened porch perfect. We had morning visits from goats and monkeys, which was a delight. The house was very clean and comfortable. The AC in the bedrooms was a plus. Mark and Bonnie helped us with travel arrangements to the island which was very helpful. Nevis is an absolutely gorgeous island and the people are so warm and friendly.“

There is a good sized pool to the rear of the house. On the plus side we found the furniture to be of a high standard, and the apartment is spacious for a one bed . „Our host, Austin, made all the arrangements for worry free arrival and departure. A cab met us at the airport in St Kitt's and took us to the water taxi. Austin met us on the Nevis side and drove us to the cottage where our rental car was waiting in the driveway. The cottage was very comfortable with a lovely verandah and gorgeous views.
