„DasRaven Hall Country House Hotel, liegt direkt an der Küste an hohem Kliff und bietet einen wirklich sehr schönen Blick über die Nordsee. Das Interieur des Hausest ist etwas altmodisch, was aber einen gewissen Charm hat.. Leider ist aber auch die Haustechnik ziemlich altmodisch und eigentlich nicht dem heutigen Standard entsprechend. So sollte man sich z.B. nicht daran stören, dass die Wasserleitungen bei Entnahme rattern wie ein vorbeifahrender Zug, Das Hotel-Restaurant ist ganz in Ordnung, ...

„An sich sehr schönes Hotel. Ideal für Wanderer und Radfahrer mit eigenen Fahrradkeller. Der ist allerdings nur über eine etwas enge Treppe zu erreichen. Service top, Sauberkeit i.O. Sehr schöne Lage. Das Hotel wird von Hundebesitzer geschätzt.“

„First the good. Great location (probably the best in Whitby.) Friendly staff, clean large bedroom, good breakfast, comfy bed with nice bedding. Great Quirky old building. Unfortunately, the bad.. when we arrived the whole building had the overwhelming smell of cooking oil. Even into the bedroom. I am pleased to state that the aroma eventually dispersed by morning. I believe that the management should address this issue urgently. Otherwise everything very good.“

„Great location, easy to walk to north beach but also, town centre and south beach are close enough to walk to. For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting too much but this guesthouse has everything you might need and more for a few days away, it’s very clean and the rooms are spacious and well organised. The staff was super nice and my double bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept on! I would definitely go back!“

„The Spa Hotel sits just above the gorgeous coastline with an easy path down to the seaside. It is a slightly steep hill up to the town center, but that's easily walkable. The restaurant was excellent and everyone so kind and friendly. I saw the most spectacular sunrise and sunset at the property. You can't help but fall in love with the Hotel and it's natural beauty in the seaside surroundings.“
