„This is a beautiful hotel and the room was also lovely unfortunately our tv had suddenly had no signal and we could not watch the movie we started to watch when we came back to the room late or the morning news as it was still not working. Reported to the reception who apologised but this was not up to the standard as it should be for stunning hotel like this. “

„Really nice 48 hours at Horwood House, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming - we have a young child so we were keen to make sure that we got two rooms that were conjoining, which they dealt with superbly. The rooms were big and comfortable, and the grounds were beautiful. Was great to get out and walk around on a beautiful day. The food was good, with prices being comparable to most hotel restaurants. „A place i will definitely like to stay again,breakfast was excellent,outside view from my hotel room was perfect.Bed very much comfortable and the room was clean.was just somehow dissatisfied with their cancellation policy,that instead of them given me an alternative, which was to change my Booking to the very weekend which I stayed in the hotel, I was told there was no room available…and was left with no other alternative but to do a complete cancellation with a fee of €139. “

„Basic hotel stuff is missing: No hair dryer, no toilet brush, no kettle, no tea or instant coffee, 0 storage options - just the floor and 2 coat hangers. Matress was horrific in both the rooms we stayed in. Floor might have been more comfortable. You definitely don't want to walk to the hotel at night as a woman - sketchy area. AC was leaking and flooding the room, but we got a new room very quickly - nice staff. Just the rooms are missing a lot of the stuff that you get in every other hotel and ...

„Das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten gut und man hat sich wohlgefühlt. Vom Hoteleigene Restaurant ist dringend abzuraten. Hätte ich den Fisch gegessen wäre der Urlaub mit Sicherheit zu Ende gewesen. Angeschnitten und dann kam ein Gestank... Wurde zwar anstandslos getauscht, hätte aber dem Koch auffallen müssen. Personal im Restaurant ungelernt, selbst das Guinness zapfen hat ewig gedauert. “

"Check in ging erst über die Bar, wo eine junge Bedienung ziemlich unfreundlich war. Danach Check in okay. Zimmer mit riesigem Wasserschaden im Bad, welcher ins Zimmer sich hineinzog. Die Einfahrt ist schwierig erreichbar. Abendessen war echt ein Problem, weil man vorbestellen muss. Schwierig, wenn man auf der Durchreise ist. Die Bedienung maulte uns an, bis dann eine andere Dame kam und wir zumindest im Barbereich einen Tisch bekamen und was essen konnten. In der Umgebung wäre auch nichts weiter gewesen. Frühstück war gut und nach Wahl zu bestellen. "
