„For my purpose of a writing retreat the location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and to Sheffield’s for supplies. Space was good for one person. Bed was comfortable. Only suggestion is that table lamps by bed and or floor lamp would improve lighting. And since there is only a microwave, microwave safe dishware would be a nice addition. Overall a nice little place! “

„The Sunset Inn was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. From the screened in porch overlooking the marsh, we watched the sun rise and sunset. Very good coffee available in the morning as well as coffee maker in the room. Tasty breakfasts. Temperature control was easy, heating and cooling. Nice walk to beach. On the first level, the Inn has 2 full showers with soap and shampoo, and each room has a storage room for beach equipment so no sand is tracked to around. We loved Sunset Beach. There is ...

„The property was terrific, Lucie was enormously pleasant and helpful - but nothing could overcome the weather. Rain from the tropical storm kept us indoors and threatened to make travel hazardous on the single road on and off the island assuming the road remained open. As a result we chose to cut our stay short and left before conditions deteriorated further.“
