„We booked this cottage for a family trip in our summer holidays and it was a lot better than expected. The rooms were big enough for a family of four plus dog. Everything was clean and tidy. The place is in a cul-de-sac and quiet, only cars from the neighbourhood are present. The parking lot is big enough for two cars. „The four of us had a wonderful stay in Dunkeld Cottage. The stone cottage was lovely - though the two tall men had to learn to duck at the kitchen door! The living spaces and bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with top-quality Siemens stove top and oven, a good dishwasher and much appreciated washer and dryer. „It's a beautiful area with stunning scenery just a short drive away. The house itself has so much character with a lovely large kitchen/dining area and big lounge. The garden is beautiful too - quiet and enclosed. We loved that you could walk to Kirkby Stephen over Frank's Bridge, which we did quite often. All in all, we had a lovely weekend.“

„If you're looking for a break in a dramatic rural away-from-it-all landscape - this is it. If you don't like jumping in and out of the car to open a couple of gates on the drive up from the main road then it's maybe not for you. For us it added to the attraction!
