„It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay .“

„This is an excellent location to stay when staying on Mersea Island. Plenty of restaurants nearby and few minute walk to sea. Well appointed house with good garden facilities, owner in good contact if needed. Thank you“

„We get good responsive action when we needed the flower and front garden cut. back garden need cutting, insect started entering the house, shower curtain need to be fixed but response, we mop water everyday after shower. We stayed over 3 weeks no cleaner to clean and we paid for cleaning each time we extend our stay. We will go else where so that the house can be cleaned when we leave instead of extending it and remain in the unkept environment. We stayed that long because of nearness to home ...

„Didn’t feel it should be advertised for 16 people, bit cramped and having to make up sofa beds nightly, king size beds are doubles. Garden lacked lighting so hot tub not comfortable in the dark so that was a waste of paying to heat it up in advance, garden not fenced off for small children and dogs, it is open to drive and road. Very nice place but a bit tired.“

„We stayed with family and friends to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. Everyone had an outstanding time. The children absolutely loved this house which had so much for them to do and enjoy. Would highly recommend.“

„The farm that the hut was located in was great. Lots of animals around and it was really fun feeding the alpacas! Host was friendly and accommodating. Overall a great getaway from the city. The directions could have been clearer, there’s no mention that I could see of the farms name however this was quickly resolved by a 1 minute phone call to the host. “

„A lovely spacious barn, fully equipped with an amazing games room which we thoroughly enjoyed. We celebrated NY here, and all had a great time. Hosts were lovely, beautiful outdoor space, and easy access to some lovely beach walks. Would highly recommend and hope to return again.“

"Leider war zu der Aufenthaltszeit eine Baustelle vor dem Hotel. Dadurch wurde auch erheblich die Nachtruhe gestört. Im Zimmer meiner Mutter gab es zudem Probleme mit der Klimaanlage und sowohl ihr als auch mein Zimmer waren nicht so sauber, wie man es sich vorstellt. Als wenn das noch nicht genug wäre, gab es am Abreisetag , im gesamten Hotel kein Wasser. Das war eine Vollkatastrophe. Wir konnten nicht duschen und uns dementsprechend auch nicht fertig machen für die Hochzeit meiner Schwester. Wir mussten dann schnell umplanen und früher abreisen. Was wiederum zu extra kosten geführt hat. An der Rezeption haben wir uns auch beschwert, uns wurde versichert, dass wir Geld zurückbekommen werden. Dies ist nicht eingetreten. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht und unzufrieden. "
