„We were booked in to no. 9 but moved as we had been doubled booked. No. 2 Apartment described as recently refurbished - bathroom has not been updated in 20 plus years. Upon speaking to Donnini - refurbishment means a new settee and table & chairs in the kitchen! Apartment was not clean - marks on bedding, cobwebs in the lampshades, carpet disgusting, kitchen floor and the wall to the side of the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time! No acknowledgment from the management team in terms ...

„Five friends stayed at the coach house for an overdue reunion. We had a fabulous time. Kitchen is well equipped, spacious living areas and beautiful views. The twin beds are really only suitable for children but otherwise we loved our stay “

„A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find.“

„The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. „Beautifully decorated comfortable chic home and the sofa bed is full size double & comfy. Only downside is it’s not that practical if you plan to cook all your meals in the flat. No cupboard space for groceries, kitchen pots etc are in the bedroom, couldn’t find a frying pan. Was easier to eat out or get takeaways. Bathroom is of high standard but tight on space with no where to put a wash bag or makeup bag or even a toothbrush. Also I would suggest owner puts a proper door on the side room ...

„Don't be fooled by the exterior. Once inside its a wonderful spacious house. Lots of little extras thought of. Automatic lights on stairway and air purifiers. Would not hesitate to stay again when we visit family in Girvan. “

"Das Hotel liegt sehr schön. Das Personal war durchweg nett und hilfsbereit. Wie haben dort sehr gut zu Abend gegessen. Das Frühstück war super. Abzug gibt es nur dafür, dass es keinen Aufzug gab und das Tragen der Koffer die Treppen hoch doch mühselig war."
