„It was a very nice house with a good view and everything in it worked as it should. My biggest complaint was that the living room smelled like dog urine BAD. I sprayed everything with some odor eliminator I found and after a couple days it was livable. Outside of that, the back patio lock is a bear & the king bed needs a new mattress but nothing is perfect so those are just notes, not complaints.“

„Lovely place for a couple and a child. Master bedroom was lovely. Water would not allow bathing but shower was ok in hall bath. The downstairs sleeping for two adults was a little difficult. Would have been nice to know upfront that the water was not potable. Nice touches with the set dining table and toiletries. View is amazing.“

„What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out.“

„The home was spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the sights and sounds of the working harbor and reversing falls right from the back deck of the house. We gained a real appreciation for the hard work watermen put in each day. From bait harvest to lobster distribution, and impressive boat handling, you get to see it all. Away from the Lobster Pound, there were plenty of nice hiking trails nearby. We also did not go hungry with the fun lunch and dinner spots throughout Harpswell ...

„Place was great. Lots of privacy! It was so quiet especially at night as we had cocktails on the deck. Made our 38th anniversary special. Did some fun stuff.Lands End store at end of Bailey Island and beach. Cooks lobster House. Cabot Antique mall and flea market in Brunswick. Had the best blueberry pancakes we ever had at the Kopper Kettle. Popham Beach topped everything off! talked with David at the end of the trip and hope to rent from him again! “
