„Overall a good stay. Very homey feel. Good location not too far from town. We stayed during a very windy few days and it was drafty inside but still warm. So although I imagine that is not the norm, it would be something to consider if travelling with a baby during the winter months. Unit is attached to a garage that’s used by owner so the space is not 100% private if that’s a consideration for future guests. Winston and Susie are very nice people and have a well stocked unit.“

„My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration.“

„Family yearly camping trip. All enjoyed their stay. Sleeping accommodations for 7 could have been better but served the purpose.“

„This spot was beyond my wife and i expectations. Would definitely recommend anyone to experience the beautiful views great accommodations.“

„Had a lovely stay. Hot tub and sauna were a welcome relief on a couple of cold, snowy days. The view of the ocean through the snow was nice. The stairs are a little steep but manageable. Everything you need is there. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.“

„Such a quaint little cottage, great for a night away to just sit and watch the ocean with your loved one. Peaceful! Everything you needed in one place. “

„The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor“

„Trailside cabins are set back from road, in a private setting. Interiors are spotlessly clean, efficient with everything you need, nicely decorated. Private access path to rocky ocean front. Very accomodating owners. “

„I was there to ride my motorcycle and see Nova Scotia. This location was perfect for getting around, not far from Rt 1, the highway and Trunk 8. So it was close to riding the coastline, cutting across the island or the highway to every where else. Returning back to a quiet place to enjoy the thoughts and views of the day’s ride was made easy with this private setting.“

„This spot was really clean and super comfortable. had all the kitchen things! The fireplace was easy to use, we had plenty of wood and kindling. Comfortable seating in the living area. All Rooms were nicely decorated and the beds comfy.Was a great stay. Host respond quickly “

„Jay's cabin was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, super comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and great location on the Cabot Trail. We enjoyed days exploring the trail and evenings on the porch or walking to the ocean on trails on the property - views from the cliff-top were magnificent. Thanks for a great stay, Jay. Maybe we'll get back there one day. “
