„Mountain house was an oasis that had us wish we were staying longer. Great setup with the two bedrooms and their own bathrooms. Calm, quiet, and a great view. The restaurant in the neighborhood was great for when we didn't want to cook and the pool at the house was great to hang out in with a cocktail. Kitchen is well stocked with spices and cookware. Will definitely be back!“

„Our large family group enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Bay. As native Hondurans, the property was reminiscent of the natural flora and flauna that has been removed from more popular parts of the islands. The more natural feel was accompanied by an increased wildlife presence which has its pros and cons. Management was very responsive and the restaurant food was really good. We used the dive shop to go snorkeling which was also a 5 star experience. It was the little things that made this a 4 star ...

„The house was clean, gorgeous, and well laid out with lots of space. I absolutely loved the hammocks set up on each screened in porch with fans to keep us cool. It was so quiet and peaceful, hearing the birds and animals each morning. Everyone was so helpful and kind. With just a quick walk we were at the pool, beach, or restaurant. Close off the property was the brewery for a change of scenery. “

„We came in January to escape the winter blues. Everything about our stay was perfect. The cottage does not disappoint! Steps from the beach, your own private pool, a stones throw from the restaurant and dive shop. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and bathrooms were large, clean with plenty of hot water and a larger capacity washer/dryer. Amanda and the dive shop were incredibly helpful and made for the perfect dive experience. All in all an A for Palmetto Bay. “
