„The property is absolutely stunning! There is wildlife galore on the property and you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. We had perfect weather and it was a little cooler but, if it wasn’t, the lack of air conditioning may have been rough! Love love loved this place and so did the whole group. 10/10 would recommend.“

„The nature surrounding the house and on the area are awesome. The deck in front of the house invites you to spend time and the two hammocks help you to relax. We could watch and photograph many birds. The trails on the hotel grounds are relatively short but nice to hike and sometimes you discover exciting animals. We enjoyed the cold pool and the hot springs of the hotel. There are no direct neighbors. Sometimes you can hear or see hikers walking around the small lake. A bit unpleasant was when ...

„We enjoyed our stay here, the home was spacious, awesome balcony with volcano view. Awesomely designed bathrooms, with good shower pressure. Beds were on the firmer side, which is great for some, but not for all. Had enough room for everyone, we only used the bedrooms downstairs. Neighborhood felt safe, people were friendly. „We enjoyed a short stay at this home. Its in the perfect location for rural experience of Costa Rica, but close enough to jump over to La Fortunas tourist trap. We watched the parrots (yellow naped and toucans) play and eat every morning with the volcano backdrop. We also got to see a pizote on our ride into La Fortuna. „Oscar was a great host - the view is amazing and the location to the activities we wanted to do was perfect. The only things I would like to see improved are more places to hang or put your clothes and the main area was not air conditioned so it made it difficult to all hang out in the center area. The pool was great and the outdoor cabana was wonderful.“

„Casa Colibri was very comfortable for our family of five with older teenagers. Everyone got their own room and bathroom! The kitchen and laundry were great for our family. We loved the pool and the groundskeeper helped us spot the sloth on the property. The drive into town is about 15 minutes on curvy, hilly roads. We stayed at the house as home base for exploring La Fortuna, Arenal National Park, Maquique Adventures rappelling and rafting, and Don Olivo chocolate tour. Great stay overall.“

„Wir haben uns im rustikalen Plantagenhaus sehr wohl gefühlt, obwohl dieses Handwerkerhaus auch einige kleine Mängel hatte. So wiesen z.B. Türen und Fenster Spalten auf (Eingang für kleine Lebewesen), das kleinere Bad roch sehr unangenehm, im Haus war sehr hellhörig (Gespräche in Schlafräumen der oberen Etage konnten problemlos im unteren Bereich mitverfolgt werden). Im unteren Schlafzimmer fehlte eine Möglichkeit, Kleidung aufzuhängen. Im Haus befanden sich entgegen der Beschreibung keine ...

„Spent 2 weeks in Costa Rica, this was my favorite because it is far enough from cities to feel relaxed but close enough to complete activities. Michael was beyond accommodating, with advice on places to go and things to do. We loved his dogs too. The view is spectacular. Their are several way to get to the home and I imagine can be semi tedious without a 4x4, but easy enough to find. Cannot recommend this place enough.“

„Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Leider regnete es die ganze Zeit. Wenn man in Ruhe schlafen will, ist es nicht zu empfehlen. Das Dach ist aus Blech und der Regen ☔️ platscht da drauf in voller Lautstärke.
