„This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. „My best friends and I stayed here for my 30th birthday and it was amazing. The villa was great! From waking up to the breathtaking views to come back to a spacious, luxury home after adventuring in Arenal and La Fortuna. It was one of the most memorable birthdays ever! I’m from New York and I can honestly say, this was a great recharge and I will 100% be coming back.“

The predescribed pool isn't at the property but in the neighbours hotelnot far away.“

„Our group of 2 families enjoyed the stay here. We had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, but very windy. The scenery was the highlight for adults. Kids loved the mini golf and the upstairs loft (beware of the steep steps). It is about an hour drive to the volcano. Lots to see and do within an hour drive in all directions. There is nice food close by “

„The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive.“

„The grounds and wrap around deck were wonderful. We spent most of the time on the deck. Steve was most helpful with his suggestions and knowledge of the area. The carved wood in the house was exceptional. The nights were a bit warm for us and the hill to get to the property was doable but difficult with a car. Location was great and all the restaurants were fabulous.“

„Always nice views on the lake. Close to New Arenal which is useful and we found good restaurants. The house was in the mountains and it was very quiet. It is suitable to have a 4x4 to reach the premises.“

„We enjoyed our stay — much to do in the surrounding area and the house and views from the huge deck are stunning. Some great local restaurants including Gingerbread right at the base of the driveway. We also liked Tortuga a few miles to the east and the Cafe Amor in Neuva Arenal. “

„The location is beautiful as advertised. Beautiful views and a nice club house with a pool. Great place to kick back and enjoy. Taniya is great to work with. Just make sure she has your cell so you can text back and forth. Only thing is to make sure the fans are in the living room. It can get a bit toasty. But the ac units in the bedrooms were amazing. Thank you!!“

„The property managers who live Nextdoor were awesome. Sylvia s as nd her husband went out of their way to make our stay. They contacted their nephew to take is on a tour to the Crystal river, and Sylvia went with us to a nature preserve!“

„Very clean and well equiped house with good beds. The hosts were absolutly friendly and helpful. You should have a rental car, 'cause it's a bit outside of Nuevo Arenal, but with a car it is a very good starting point. We did several trips and nice tours from there. We had a good time at the house and there were fresh fruits and cool drinks for us when we arrived.“

„Wir mussten über 1 Stunde auf den Check-In warten, das ist nicht akzetabel. Eine einfache Email od. Info hätte gereicht, um zu wissen, das der Haustürschlüssel versteckt hinterlegt worden ist! Der Eigentümer war im Ausland u. die angestellte Haushälterin musste uns öffnen u. einweisen, das war dann soweit ok.“

„Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids)visited Costa Rica for 9 days. We stayed in 3 different Vrbos but this one was our favorite. Absolutely amazing, paradise on earth! The hosts are very responsive and kind, you will arrive to some eggs, milk, snacks and fruit waiting for you. The location is perfect and safe. „This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. Nette Unterkunft mit nettem Personal.

"Nette Unterkunft und super freundliches Personal. Zimmer war sauber, es fehlen vieleicht 2 Stühle. Wenn vor der Tür die Bank bequemer wäre, würde das das ganzen noch um etliches aufwerten. Wir waren für 2 Nächte. Also Zwischenstop vollkommen ausreichend. Frühstück und Abendessen waren ebenfalls ok."

"Nous avons passé deux belles nuits dans cet hôtel bien placé pour visiter la zone de la Fortune. La chambre avec vue sur la forêt et sur le volcan était bien confortable, propre et spacieuse. Le personnel disponible nous a bien accueilli et renseigné. Le restaurant propose un assez bon petit-déjeuner et des bons repas. Je le conseille ! "

"The view from our room/tiny house on Lake Arenal was just wonderful, embedded in the green hills and the sound of many different birds. The sourrounding garden of La Mansion Inn Arenal was kept lovely. We also enjoyed the tasty brekfast, although the menu was rather small. We really recommend to try the delecious meals that are serverd for dinner. The service of the receptionist was very friendly, professional (good English) and helpful. "
