„Amazing stay at Skyrim. Quick 15 mins into the main restaurant area or a quick 5 min drive in. The lodge is brand new and very welled thought out. Great location and beautifully decorated. Communication with hotel made the checking process easy. Love the dark sky experience and glad we stayed at Skyrim since it was close by. Walking distance to lake Tekapo is also a huge highlight. „This is a place you need to bring your own bedding (which we had) and towels (which we forgot :-) ) It was good value for money. We did not have internet. I am not sure if that could have been arranged. We stayed as a couple with my brother but we think it might be also a really nice place for a family. It is easy walking to the town center. „House was in a pretty, residential neighborhood. It was better than we expected from the pics of it. We thought it a bit unusual that the owner showed up before our checkout time on the last day. Without identification or notice it made us nervous as to who was walking in the house . Otherwise , great stay. “

„Great communication with hosts before travel and while we were there. Guesthouse was larger than expected and can host 4 easily. Huge beach with literally none there. Great stopover if coming from (or going to) Arthur‘s pass. In the huge garden there is space for camper vans.“
