„Absolutely a beautiful spot to stay! And just what we wanted, a little spot off the beaten path. Beautiful place, gorgeous property and a sighting of the resident donkey! David, the owner met us for check in and provided information. Sufficient equipment in the kitchen to cook meals. Lovely to sit out on the porch to sip beverages and hear and see the birds. We were doing local hikes and taking in the sights at the national volcano park and it’s a 45 minute drive -very doable and lovely. And ...

„Wonderful property with so many lovely design features. Very comfortable and well equipped. Great for exploring the park. You can buy milk and snacks at the volcano store but should bring other groceries. We loved the gorgeous garden and the spa bath! The only downside was we were there during a full moon. It was gorgeous but there are no window coverings and it was like having a spotlight shining on us at night! Highly recommend this property. “

„We visited the big island for a week and stayed here for the entire time. The house is a short drive to Hilo, and Volcano National Park is only 5 minutes away. Communication with the owner was prompt with easy to follow instructions to get to and access the property. The house itself is the second story of a two level home with access via outdoor stairs. We did have some reservations about the home having an unexpected occupied main level with rambunctious kids along, but we did not receive any ...

„Wir haben nachts sehr gefroren, die kleinen Elektroheizstrahler sind zu wenig. Wir waren im März dort, ist zu dieser Jahreszeit eigentlich nicht bewohnbar. Wir haben mit Schal. Pullover, Hose etc. geschlafen. Code zum Öffnen der Tür am Anreisetag war nicht klar verständlich.“
