„Very very conveniently located! It's about ten minutes from Volcanoes National Park, and not too far from other areas of interest as well. We visited from Kona so the difference in climate was extremely refreshing. Love the consideration placed in the small things too, like heated blankets and individual space heaters. It does get a little chilly in the evening at that altitude but I love the cooler nights. Thanks for the opportunity to stay!“

„We really enjoyed our short stay at Kamaka Cottage in Volcano. The location was perfect for exploring Volcanoes National Park. The cottage is nicely appointed with a lot of sunny windows and great access to the outdoors via the barn doors that open into the rain forest. It has everything you need for a private and secluded stay. “

„Wir haben nachts sehr gefroren, die kleinen Elektroheizstrahler sind zu wenig. Wir waren im März dort, ist zu dieser Jahreszeit eigentlich nicht bewohnbar. Wir haben mit Schal. Pullover, Hose etc. geschlafen. Code zum Öffnen der Tür am Anreisetag war nicht klar verständlich.“

„This property is extremely well cared for. The landscaping and home are absolutely gorgeous. The deck and window doors allow for a comfortable “outdoor” experience even when it rains. The hot tub was a fantastic added bonus for the cooler evenings. Loved the location as well.“

„The Pacifica Inn is just a few minutes from the Volcano National Park and part of a great little neighborhood. Even though in a neighborhood, it feels very secluded and in your own little tropical forest. We stayed in the Gecko and Volcano rooms. I feel this is a best option when you are traveling with friends and/or another couple to have your own spaces ... but still in the same building/property. Communication with the host was great!“

„Cabin was cute, clean, and right beside the national park enterance. The kids loved the hot tub in the evenings! Owner provided all info needed so check in was easy! There were even fresh flowers decorating the tables inside. Great deal!!“
