„Really nice grounds, excellent pool for size of property. Staff were excellent. Carpets in the room could be replaced.“

„East House is a lovely old property. We had a large room with a great view across farm fields (there were cows!), and the sea, you could also see Dunstanburgh castle in the distance. The host was really welcoming and friendly. Despite what it says in the description the beds are fully made up and there is a good supply of towels in the bathroom so you don’t need to bring sheets etc. nice touches in the room included a kettle, coffee, fresh milk, cereals, biscuits, shampoo, hair conditioner, ...

Check in at 7pm and check out at 9am even during the current situation is somewhat ridiculous especially as the cleaners don't arrive at vacated properties until 11am. We paid over the odds for 3 nights but only got 2 days. The rugs were not clean and there were cobwebs everywhere. The bins were dirty as was the shower although the cottage was comfortable and I would revisit under better conditions. I didnt appreciate being asked to strip the beds! This ...
