„Die Ferienwohnung war wie beschrieben und insgesamt sehr gemütlich und wohnlich. Alles was in der Beschreibung versprochen wurde, wurde auch gehalten und besonders das Internet war für die Lage sehr gut (rund 30Mbit/s mit leicheten Schwankungen zu den Spitzenzeiten). Die Lage war genau wie erwartet: in einem kleinen Dorf, etwas Abgelegen, aber mit Guter Infrastruktur in relativer Nähe (ca. 15 Minuten Autofahrt entfernt liegt Alnwick mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Gastronomie und Alnwick Castle, ...

„Spezielle Unterkunft in einem Schloss. Das ganze Anwesen sehr gepflegt und die Leute freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gute Lage um von dort die Umgebung zu erkundschaften. Keine Wlan Verbindung in den Zimmern, falls das jemandem wichtig ist.“

„We absolutely loved staying at the castle to celebrate our friends 40th birthdays! John was great messaging prior to our stay, with any questions I had answered quickly. Mandy was incredibly welcoming and friendly, who met us on arrival and showed us around. What a magnificent place to stay! The castle was incredible, and had loads of amazing rooms and features. „As a 3 generation family group we all loved this place to stay. Fabulous location: amazing views of countryside, but close enough to the coast. Accommodation was comfortable (beds amazingly so), lots of games and activities for children, and of course the pool and hot tub which were very well used. Our hosts Mark and Georgina were very helpful and accommodating, and communicated really well. Highly recommended. Simon and family.“

„Wonderful, grand, welcoming place. We used this as the setting of a team meeting to build our relationships, objective complete! The setting really brought everyone together with space for everyone to be involved. A packed agenda during the day, relaxing together cooking regional dishes in the evening, then games in the cellar in the later evening. This place is so versatile in amazing surroundings, i would definitely recommend for a group booking.“

„We had a fantastic time at East Lodge. The property was cosy, quirky and very clean. It had a historical feel with all the modern comforts. We loved exploring Chillingham castle grounds and gardens and we booked onto the Family Ghost Tour which was brilliant! We had such a lovely weekend and intend to visit again. Highly recommended. “

„My family and I stayed here over Christmas for a couple of nights and we’re quite surprised with our stay, the house itself is lovely and the space was great for all the family to be together with our own rooms and the dogs loved it too, however I am disappointed to say the cleanliness of the manor was rather unsatisfactory. I would expect from any place you can book to stay for the rooms to be of a basic clean standard and I feel the manor wasn’t even slightly clean, there were dead bugs on ...

„I booked this for my 40th birthday and Post-wedding celebration, and the entire experience was a fairytale. The views of the Jurassic coast that the castle sits upon are breathtaking. The castle itself is a perfect size, just enough to get a little lost in. The management team (Tessa and Hannah) are great. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.“
