„Our stay here was amazing. We walked to the museum across the street and walked down to a popular and old time diner down the road. Great location. The apartment had everything we needed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the lack of hot water for showering, and the tv was broke in the master bedroom. Management was great with responding. “

„Came on a 1-day trip w family of 5 (3 teens) bf a wknd bball tourney. Wanted more space than a traditional hotel (3+ beds, 2 bathrooms) without breaking the bank and this fit the bill. Check-in was easy (altho u do have to complete a pre-check w ID and some signatures online several hrs prior), and host communication was great. „ We loved the place and would stay there again. As other people have stated, the people upstairs are loud but it's mostly just the sound of walking around and occasionally dropping things. There are earplugs on the nightstand if you need them. Note about the location. We arrived at night and could not figure out how to get to the back of the apartment. „Our stay was fantastic. Property was conveniently located to street car, bars, restaurants, riverfront. The apartment was perfect for two couples with bedroom en-suite on each side of the open living area. Property owner was most gracious and easy to contact. „The stay was good. Thank you for responding so quickly regarding the heat issue. The gentleman that came out was very kind and he even brought us another heater. There were a couple of issues. The hallways smell very strong of marijuana the entire time we were there. We even had to put a towel under the kitchen door to keep the smell out. Other issue was the unit above us. „On our way home, we decided to stop in Kansas City for the night and visit a few local attractions. We chose this apartment for an overnight stay, and it was amazing. Yes there are many stairs to climb, but once you have your luggage upstairs it was no big deal. And it was very easy to get to other attraction from this location. Next time I’m in Kansas City I definitely plan to stay here again.“

„The check in process was very easy. The location was great for where we needed to be in the morning. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was not what we would have hoped for and did not sleep well. The linens, however, were heavenly. The bathroom was roomy and wonderful as well! “

„Apartment above us had old very creeky floor so we could hear every step taken by renters upstairs which made sleeping difficult. Otherwise a very quaint and clean, updated and comfortable unit. Great hipster breakfast/brunch spot a block away. Happy Gillis, great farm fresh food and welcoming staff. Close to many Kansas City Attractions.“

Historisches Hotel in zentraler Lage

"Das Hotel aus den 1930er Jahren ist sehr schön im Art Deco Stil gestaltet. Die Lage in der Stadt ist sehr zentral, alles ist zu Fuß oder mit der kostenlosen Metro, die ebenfalls nur 100 m entfernt ist, zu erreichen. Auch die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, aber etwas abgewohnt. Die Klimaanlagen sind sehr veraltet, lassen sich nicht abstellen und rauschen rund um die Uhr wie ein Wasserfall. Der Service an der Rezeption, die teilweise noch nicht einmal besetzt war, war zum Teil unerträglich. Sowohl unfreundlich als auch unprofessionell. (Mit Ausnahme einzelner Mitarbeiter tagsüber)."
