„This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.“

„It's everything you would expect from a youth hostel and more. The rooms are basic but clean; the food is cheap and delicious; the staff extremely friendly. But best of all is the scenery - nestled in the valley at the end of the Talybont resevoir it's simply idylic - hills stretching in every direction - and so dark at night! As a city dweller it was a shock to experience such a pitch black sky bursting full of stars. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone hiking in the Brecons.“
