„Good hotel but unfortunately there is a lot of work being do it, the staff are very friendly and hard working the let down is the pool is not in use as they are working on it, not the hotels fault but Hotels.com could have been more informative it was only when I read a review about the pool then went back their website there is a line through pool but it is very faint apart that the food was good and will back when the work is done.“

„Unterkunft alt und in einen sehr schlechten Zustand. Preis Leistung Verhältnis ungenügend. Völlig überteuert für den miserablen Zustand. Personal ist freundlich und die Lage war gut. An Wyndham Anlage unbedingt renovieren. 😡“

„1 night stay on a business trip. Lovely country pub with rooms. Warm and friendly welcome from the team. Room was well designed, all the facilities needed, spotlessly clean. Team were flexible with the breakfast arrangements to fit around my timings. I will certainly return.“

„What a fabulous place and just a couple of miles out of Windermere. The Inn has a great atmosphere and the speciality ales are just what you need after along day of hiking. The rooms are great, superclean and very comfortable. To top it all, the cooked breakfasts in the morning were both hearty and delicious. Thr staff were also super helpful too. This was the first time we have stayed here but will definitely come again. Would highly recommend, especially perfect for dog owners. “

„Great location couldn't believe how good the views were, absolutely breathtaking. Met the owner whilst there. He was brilliant and friendly nothing was any problem. Very kind and nice man. Would recommend it 100% to anyone. One happy customer and his dog Buddy. “

„Mit hohen Erwartungen, auch aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen, checkten wir hier für fünf Nächte ein. Bei der Ankunft war das Restaurant bereits durch eine Reisegruppe sehr voll. Wir wurden durch den Barmann leidenschaftslos empfangen und eilig auf unser Zimmer geführt. Wir erkundigten uns, ob für den Abend eine Reservierung im Restaurant erforderlich sei. Dies wurde bejaht und so bestellten wir einen Tisch für 7 Uhr. Als wir später pünktlich im immer noch überfüllten Gastraum eintrafen war ...

„I cannot fault my stay. Everything I needed, and more, was in the room. Bed and coverings were extremely comfortable so I had a great couple of night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent. I had a full breakfast both days and felt the food was of a great quality, with plenty of choices. My host was very friendly, welcoming and provided a service that means on my next trip to Kendal I will 100% be returning to Glenholme!“

"Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "
