„Unterkunft alt und in einen sehr schlechten Zustand. Preis Leistung Verhältnis ungenügend. Völlig überteuert für den miserablen Zustand. Personal ist freundlich und die Lage war gut. An Wyndham Anlage unbedingt renovieren. 😡“

„The staff were great. Really made my stay better. Last minute booking to avoid camping in the torrential weather and the girls working were very helpful with everything. Had an awesome night sleep. Reasonably priced for the comfort provided and breakfast was great! Would stay again. “

„I stayed for 2 nights whilst on business locally. My initial thought on booking was, it'll do but I was very pleasantly surprised. With it's warm, super friendly atmosphere and cosy furnishings I decided not to venture out & stayed to dine here both nights. I very much enjoyed my meals so much so I went for the Roast Dinner on both evenings - I can highly recommend. Thank you to Emma & Shane, sorry I didn't take the names of the other peeps but they were all lovely! “

„One of our go to places when up in Kendal for business. Clean & friendly and a good choice of things on the menu. Food is delicious! Only downfall we had was we booked a certain table for dinner one evening and one member of staff had moved us and was quite rude about it! Original table was empty the whole time we were in the restaurant! Wouldn’t have minded if she had been polite and explained why the move had been made!“

„Great location couldn't believe how good the views were, absolutely breathtaking. Met the owner whilst there. He was brilliant and friendly nothing was any problem. Very kind and nice man. Would recommend it 100% to anyone. One happy customer and his dog Buddy. “

„Mit hohen Erwartungen, auch aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen, checkten wir hier für fünf Nächte ein. Bei der Ankunft war das Restaurant bereits durch eine Reisegruppe sehr voll. Wir wurden durch den Barmann leidenschaftslos empfangen und eilig auf unser Zimmer geführt. Wir erkundigten uns, ob für den Abend eine Reservierung im Restaurant erforderlich sei. Dies wurde bejaht und so bestellten wir einen Tisch für 7 Uhr. Als wir später pünktlich im immer noch überfüllten Gastraum eintrafen war ...

„Brilliant property“

„Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. One of the bedrooms does have a particularly un-private toilet in it, which may trouble some people. But overall, ...

"Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "
