„A convenient place to stay, just a short walk from the train station. The room was nicely decorated and although advertised as cosy, it was fairly spacious. The bed was comfortable and more than sufficient amenities for a few nights stay. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner and the shower wasn’t very hot or powerful. Great food in the pub downstairs from a varied menu. “

„Great location couldn't believe how good the views were, absolutely breathtaking. Met the owner whilst there. He was brilliant and friendly nothing was any problem. Very kind and nice man. Would recommend it 100% to anyone. One happy customer and his dog Buddy. “

„Great place to stay for a break, the caravan layout was ideal and the kitchen had all the facilities needed to cook meals etc., Having a shower/toilet and a separate toilet makes this property ideal for families. Cleanliness was of a very good standard and quality bedding provided. The location was quiet but within a few miles of towns and local pubs and eateries if you wanted to go off site. I would stay again.“

„No better place for a relaxing time. Nicely located for a trip into the lakes if required. Extremely clean and Mark very helpful with good communication and doing all he could for us. Only negative it says hot tub which we wrongly assumed would be at the cabin - however I assume he is referring to the jacuzzi in the swimming area and I feel this should be highlighted. I had a disabled family member with me who was looking forward to this, but wasn't confident going into the pool. Will ...

The lodge is awesome and communication with Margaret the host is incredible, she responded to every email I sent asking questions about the area and generously offered us an extra night as we had to cancel our other stay due to ill health. "Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "
