„Fantastic location, convenient base for short Ullswater stay. Staff mostly great and welcoming, rooms very clean, corridors and paintwork showing wear and many scuffs. Room tea coffee facilities excellent, evening meal was very average and probably over priced. Breakfast, service and overall environment lovely and excellent service. Set us up well for the day and one of the nicest breakfasts I've had. Would definitely consider a return stay when in Ullswater. “

„1 night stay on a business trip. Lovely country pub with rooms. Warm and friendly welcome from the team. Room was well designed, all the facilities needed, spotlessly clean. Team were flexible with the breakfast arrangements to fit around my timings. I will certainly return.“

Would only have to comment on the light shining through the bathroom window all night from the storage area outside, and the shower cubicle wasn't very clean (moldy grout, mold on shower fittings), but the room itself was very modern and warm. We stayed in room 9, which was dog friendly. It was located on the ground floor, right near the entrance to the pub, I was worried we would be able to hear everything going on but I can't say that ...
