„My daughter and I absolutely loved staying here. Very short walk down the lane to the beach. People were so friendly and it felt safe. This location was close to my Ventura family. Little scary for us when the fires started in Ventura but there was a quick response to put them out.Beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. LOVED the candy jar-we love Smartees.We could have walked to a few stores but didn’t need to. I do recommend this property. “

„We have stayed in several rentals, and this one was better furnished than any. It was very comfortable and clean. The host checked in to make sure everything was right, and it was. Beds were great, plenty of linens, and the kitchen was more than fully stocked. The only complaint I had was the bbq. It was a Coleman portable and needs to be replaced, although I made it work. I still give this place 5 stars and would give it 6 if possible.“

„We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. One could tell that a dog lived there before us. The walk to the wonderful beach was very short and the sunsets were great. We found everything we needed in the house. The table was a little bit too small for 8 people.“

„Overall, we liked the property very much. The beach house was very cute and had comfortable beds, a good supply of dishes, pots and pans and linens. The outdoor patio area and furniture were very dirty making it uninviting. We brought our own lounge chairs, and were happy we did. Parking was difficult. Our main concern was the very loud traffic - day and night. Lots of very loud motorcycles. “

„Booked this lovely cottage for a ten day stay in Ventura and could not have been happier. Super attentive owner on site and EVERYTHING about this property is outstanding. They're not kidding when they say minutes from the beach. Fruit trees visible from windows in living room. Clean accommodations. Easy access to the 101 and walking distance to several businesses. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Full stop.“

„Our stay at Mandalay Shores was perfect. We stayed in the two bedroom near the beach. Parking was not a problem in mid March , we parked in front the unit on our six day stay. The pool was behind our unit and the guest who used it were very quiet. Cute and cozy beach spot in Oxnard, would return on next visit. “

„Owner was great, responses quick and will be there on a same day when something is broken. The furniture is cool and very worthy but it's very worn. Bathrooms very worthy and clean, but the doors and the surfaces of the furniture was very dirty and dusty, the BBQ either. House needs new paint from outside and a little TLC inside. We were a large group of friends 19 and 3 kids but we spent a great time there and we would do it again. Thank you for having a great time “

"Sehr schöne Anlage direkt am Strand. Dünen richen direkt bis zum Hotel. Keine störende Strasse zwischen Hotel und Strand wie sonst fast überall in Südkalifornien. Hotel ist sehr gut unterhalten. Service ohne Abstriche sehr gut. Oxnard ist aber weg vom Schuss. 50Min bis Santa Barbara und 50Min bis Malibu. Dies muss man wissen, da Oxnard sonst nicht hergibt. Die Lage kann aber nicht am Hotel angekreidet werden. Wer dort bucht geht an den Strand und nutzt die Sportmöglichkeiten im Hotel. Gratis Verleih von Surfboaords, Buggy Boards, Wet Suites usw."
