„Every thing was good thanks . But got lock out the hotel .there was contact number for someone to let you in . All you got was number to the main office. Luckily when to the boat inn and the manageress of the boat inn new someone staying that the greyhound hotel that let us in. Just need a direct number for help. Thank you “

„Had a call day before to ask what time we was checking in and give us useful information about the area and what to do. Lady at check in was super nice gave us more tips on the area. Room was warm and clean when arrived. Had kettle and microwave and a mini fridge, no cutlery or plates but that was fine with us. If walking down to the town, it is a very steep hill and takes 15 minutes for the unfit lol. Overall good stay and would stay again. “

„Loved the decor of the hotel, we stayed in Calke room. Hotel chosen as situated within easy walk to Heights of Abraham event we'd booked. The hotel's Restaurant wasnt fully operational but this is shown on their website. Some hot food was available though Fri & Sat evening and we had very tasty meals. But there are loads of other eateries nearby. Good choices for breakfast as well. All in all we had great weekend with lots to do in the area. We enjoyed the live music at Fish Pond pub short walk ...

„Amazing! We were initially put in Room 3 which we found a little disappointing for what we had paid. We asked for Room 5 (our very favourite room) and we were delighted to change rooms (although slightly confused why we hadn’t been offered that one first?). Room 5 was stunning and impeccably clean and inviting, although very ( a little too) warm on arrival Our bar meal was excellent, the bar manager was wonderful and kept the real fire stoked all evening which enhanced the cosy pub ...

„My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best! Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer. Thank you Ziz once again, kind regards Ian & Christine x“

„Superb trip from start to finish. Marylyn the host was excellent from the moment we booked the trip until the minute we left the property. Nothing was too much trouble and the property was amazing and even better than the photos suggest. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great house with excellent facilities, amazing views in a great location. “
