„DasRaven Hall Country House Hotel, liegt direkt an der Küste an hohem Kliff und bietet einen wirklich sehr schönen Blick über die Nordsee. Das Interieur des Hausest ist etwas altmodisch, was aber einen gewissen Charm hat.. Leider ist aber auch die Haustechnik ziemlich altmodisch und eigentlich nicht dem heutigen Standard entsprechend. So sollte man sich z.B. nicht daran stören, dass die Wasserleitungen bei Entnahme rattern wie ein vorbeifahrender Zug, Das Hotel-Restaurant ist ganz in Ordnung, ...

„I'd read the previous reviews before booking here so this is an up-to-date review now for everyone! 1. Over a few days, I found out from random people that the area DID have a dodgy reputation so possibly the previous reviews are fair. But locals told me that the council have made a big effort to sort this out. I'm a middle-aged woman staying ON MY OWN and I saw zero of any concern. 2. „Couldn't fault the hotel, considering the building is 150 years old it was in great condition, very well looked after, everywhere was clean and tidy. It was -1 outside but the whole hotel was lovely and warm, very relaxing. The staff were all nice and very helpful, the food and the dining room were great. The only thing that let it down was the parking outside, not enough spaces.“

„Flat was dark requiring lights on at all time. Front entrance was a builing site with scaffolding obscuring entry. Rear yard was dominated by spiral staircase and a lot of clutter. Shower rooms were impractable. Unable to regulate temperature of showers meaning unable to use as water too hot and dangerous. Area very run down and frankly felt uncomfortable and unsafe.“
