The Space:
This beautiful and spacious apartment inside The Shore offers guests an incredibly stylish getaway to the Mexican Caribbean. Located just a block from Coco Beach and just steps to the famous 5th Avenue where you’ll find cafes, bars, restaurants, boutique and souvenir shops and plenty of people-watching! You’ll be in one of the coolest neighborhoods in all of Playa, Zazil-ha and walking distance to a line up of beach clubs like Las Hijas, Mandarinas, Martina, Coralina, Mamitas, Kool, Coralina & Grand Hyatt where you can spend the day soaking in the sun and fun!

This place is a vacation paradise! From the minute you enter The Shore you’ll feel relaxed as the complex is filled with tranquil fountains and lush tropical scenery. You certainly won’t need a car but if you have one, you’ll have free parking on-premise in the underground parking lot. There are fantastic amenities too like the rooftop pool, a modern fitness center, elevators, and a prime location in Playa del Carmen!

You’re just steps away too, from the famous 5th Avenue where you can grab a coffee at the local cafe and chocolateria called Ah Cacao. Or head to Starbucks if it’s more familiar, which is also just up the road. Everything you need is just a short walk or drive. There’s even a Walmart nearby. Plus so many other fabulous things to see and do around Playa del Carmen -- everything from the beach and beach clubs, water sports like scuba and snorkeling, paddle boarding, and boating, eco-parks with underground rivers, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (natural sinkholes unique to this area!), private yacht and fishing tours, golfing, day trips to Tulum or Cancun, and so much more!

Getting Around:
The condo is about 54 km or 33.5 miles from the Cancun International Airport (CUN) and is located in The Shore at 46th Condo building. (Note: 46th Street is known to the locals as “CTM Avenue” (Pronounced /SEH-Tay-Eh-MAY/) There’s an underground parking lot with free parking at the complex if you’re renting a car, making it very convenient! And if you are driving around downtown, just remember there are parking meters you must pay to park and display your parking ticket on the dashboard of your car. Luckily, however, the complex is so centrally-located, you won’t really need to drive! You can also easily rent a bike, take a taxi or ‘colectivo’ (shared-ride vans) where you need to go.

Other Things to Note:
This 2375-square-foot condo at The Shore is on the 5-floor and has 3 comfortably stylish bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms plus a half bath on the terrace and can accommodate 6 guests.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a maintenance issue, the private rooftop pool cannot currently be filled to its full capacity and will remain half-full.

PLEASE NOTE: there is construction nearby and you may hear construction machine noise during daytime working hours, Mon-Sat

It is strictly prohibited to hang any clothing or towels on the balcony. Violation of this rule can lead to fines ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 MXN. Note that these fines may apply even if you are not present at the time when the report is made.

Wi-Fi and cable/satellite TV, bed linens, and towels are provided free for all guests during your stay.

We have a concierge team that’s happy to recommend the best restaurants and activities in the area, help you with a car or bike rentals, book day tours, and even stock your fridge with provisions for your stay! If you need an airport transfer, we can help with that also! Just let us know!

There is no daily housekeeping service however the unit is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to check-in. Mid-stay cleaning services can be requested for an additional fee.

The cleaning service does not include changing the bed linens or towels. If you would like to add this service, additional fees will apply.

A security deposit of $500 USD is required upon your arrival and the amount will be returned to you before you check out, provided there’s no damage or anything requiring repair due to an incident during your stay.

Please note that electricity in Playa del Carmen is very expensive! There is a charge of 6 pesos per kW for stays longer than 6 nights. Please be conscientious of what you consume and always shut off the air conditioning before leaving the house as it consumes the most.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

Some home and bath essentials are provided like toilet paper, trash bags, soap, shampoo & conditioner. Any other supplies needed during your stay must be brought onsite by the guest.

Security Deposit : A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.

- No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis, or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No music devices are permitted in the pool area or common areas.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed on the premises.

Interaction with Guests:
The reception will help get you checked-in and registered. Then just head to unit #405 and access the keys inside the lockbox with the code. The lockbox code is provided to you 24 hours before arrival.

Property is in an excellent location and was very clean and modern. Check-in process was easy with assistance of front desk staff at the Shore. Overall a great stay and would consider returningPros:-private rooftop patio with plunge pool and excellent view-great location off the east end of 5th Ave....very quiet neighborhood- unit was clean- good air conditioning with dark out blinds- great community rooftop pool with bar- host response to issues was quick - 2 large jugs of water were provided which was appreciatedCons- wifi did not reach private rooftop area which was unfortunate as alot of time was spent on rooftop- loungers were missing from private rooftop area. Some patio chairs were well worn/broken (but useable)- although the property states that it would sleep 6 persons, we found that the double beds in the 2 bedrooms were too small to accommodate 2 adults each (we had 5 adults in our group), therefore one person slept on the pull out sofa (extra linens provided by host)

Rooftop Paradise
Our family of 4 absolutely adored this penthouse experience. Each room was outfit with everything we needed. The beach towels were a huge plus since we thought we would need to purchase those when we arrived. We loved the shades in each room, the airconditioning, the aesthetic, the balconies. The best part, though, was the rooftop. We enjoyed each morning welcoming the day there and each evening watching the ocean and saying hello to the stars. How nice to have three bathrooms, too. Really nice touch to have an outfitted kitchen with everything we could need. Plus the water was a godsend...we're so grateful for all the ways you considered your guests. Plus we used the gym every day and appreciated having a safe place to park our rental car each night. Eating pineapples on the rooftop was a slice of heaven. Thank you!

Great spot, will definitely return!
I met a college friend here for a long weekend and the place was perfect! Easy access to the beach (we used the cooler and chairs that were there each day), steps away from all of the restaurants and shops on 5th Avenue, the pool and gym were great and of course the private plunge pool with the rooftop deck was amazing! The property manager was really helpful with check in / check out. We will definitely return here someday!

Excellent Stay
Beautiful property and close to everything and nice restaurants all around. The Bar/Restaurant at the upstairs pool is really really excellent. Was pleasantly surprised by the cook ( Ignacio ) who made amazing drinks and food. Would def stay here again.

This property was excellent, I would highly recommend it to others. The host was very attentive and contacted us numerous times using different technologies to fill our needs. Large new apartment in walkable neighborhood
The apartment was well appointed, had all the kitchen things you’d need to cook at the unit. But who’d want to with all the great dining options in the area. Air conditioning in each room worked well. Plus the private pool only for the unit was great with a wonderful view. Gladys the property manager was very responsive anytime we needed her. Like during check in the front desk couldn’t find our reservation. She resolved it quickly. Right after check in one of the blinds pulls came apart. She was able to get someone there to repair it within the hour. The second day we had a closet door come off the tracks and another blind got stuck. When we reached out she responded immediately. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to get anyone over to fix it before our stay was over. Overall the apartment was very new and clean in a great neighborhood. Only real drawback was that I’m pretty sure it’s strictly a rental so no one is around to notice when little things aren’t working or put together properly.

The condo is in a great location - 1 block from 5th (lots of restaurants and shopping) Not easy to get a response from Angel Host and if you do not speak Spanish the front desk can’t help either. One of the bedroom’s AC would not adjust the temperature so it stayed very cold in that one room. Despite minor inconveniences, we had a good time - mainly due to the location.

Solid place, good location!
Enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights. Rooms are nice, kitchen is functional and the upstairs terrace and pool are fantastic!! Quieter side of 5th Ave, so no major noise complaints during the evenings. Takes about 30 minutes to walk the Ave all the way to the fairy, but plenty of cabs available for around 10 usd.

Family Vacation
What a wonderful property! This place is so close to the beach and 5th Avenue. Cafe Celine for breakfast and Sonora Grill for a wonderful dinner! The people are so friendly and the environment is safe! Go here and you are assured a wonderful experience!
